Bride Chidi Ogbuta of Allen, Texas had this life-sized wedding cake made to look just like her for her September 2007 wedding. These amazing pics are just making the rounds of the Internet now. I don't know how it took so long, because this cake is incredible! I love it. I think it came off well, and I give her props for such an unusual cake and dress.
Both great ideas had the potential to come off very tacky, but I think the results are actually positively dazzling. Would you agree?

the cake may be over the top,but when you say "ghetto" I have seen worse.try going to a funeral where the deceased person had their top lip pulled up so you could see their gold teeth!!! I AM NOT LYING!!! NOW THAT IS GHETTO.

Is the head edible or just the dress? (hopefully just the dress, that is kind of cannibalistic eating the head of the cake, and having a decapitated head in your frig for one year once the cake part of the dress is eaten at the wedding. The couple is suppose to keep the top of the cake for a year, and eat the top of the cake on their one year anniversary. Hopefully they made an exception. That's a little eerie.
