Back in 1988, I was in love with L.L.. Those lickable lips, that hard body and his hip hop fashion staples of Kangol caps and Troops jackets allowed him to be the "It" boy of that time.
Twenty years later, L.L. has designed his own hip hop gear called Todd Smith. Unfortunately unlike L.L. circa 1988, this line is average at best. After viewing some pieces I was greatly disappointed in the outcome. It was as if he said, "let's bedazzle, paint and stud the sh*t out of this line."

Yo' people have been hatin' on LL for over 20yrs. You refuse to acknowledge this man's legend, his thought process, his low key,(and might I add RESPECTFUL) way of doin' what he does. Sean John is just a knock off of Karl Kani with Puffy's ego and money behind it. So for all the BACK HANDED compliments- KEEP 'EM! I'll buy his gear because I support his skill, his drive to keep proving haters wrong, and the fact that unlike Mr. Combs who has to continually put people down and walk all over people who have way more talent than himself, LL IS that POSITIVE rolemodel we and OUR WOMEN "CLAIM" they've been looking for. When was the last "Bitch and HOE" album released?

Always support good peeps.
LL is the man. Cool, hard,yet isn't afraid to be himself or show his other side.
A man of God- one of the few role models in the game.
Just hope his line isn't over priced like SJ - urban clothes is hurting their own people who are struggling or don't have nothing or know they don't have nada.
If you don't have a bank account - have nada.
If all your money is illegal - nada.
If you live with your mama and over 25, and have no money saved up - NADA.
If you have no savings account and bank account -nada.
If you have no assetts or possessions - but have trendy, over priced clothes you need to have new goals or values.
ANd please stop wasting money on brand name kids clothes -when the kid doesn't care.That is money you should be saving or putting aside for their/ hopefully college or tech school.Or needs.
There are nice clothes/ good clothes/ cheaper clothes and options out there -quit throwing money away!

I luv it LL. That is your style and it works for me and about the comment made about your clothing line. Let the people judge by their purchases not by the media. Here we go again. The media can be so one negative sided. Really hate hearing their comments. Just post the pictures and be done with it. Oh yeah, my bad, Freedom of speech.
