Mendes has had a great relationship with Calvin Klein for quite some time, particularly with their Creative Director Francisco Costa. They've dressed her for a number of hi-profile events including this year's Independent Spirit Awards and last year's Fashion Rocks, often alongside Costa. A direct result of a blossoming friendship between the two Latinas. Costa, who is currently nominated for the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award at this year's CFDA Fashion Awards, most likely will have the curvy Calvin Klein-clad Mendes by his side as his hot red carpet accessory.

To comment 15, really WOW!! Yes where you're born is your Nationality. America is a Nation so if you're born here that would be your Nationality, hence Nationality.If you are Cuban, Jamaican, German, etc that would be your ethnicity. The Nation where you where born IS your Nationality!!! Also it's immigration not migration the thousands of Cubans in Miami are American's if born here with Cuban heritage (parents, grandparents). Please go back to school and learn a few things, spelling for one!

# 12, You get my drift people always want to point out where a person is or isn’t from because they have issues and need to constantly put the finger on that difference to reinforce something in the person they are referring to. Eva was born in America which makes her a full fledge U.S citizen…who cares about her ethnicity…in my eyes she is a human being…period. People who reiterate that she is Cuban want to tell you something…if you can read between the lines.
