Recently, not long after a short rehab stint at Cirque Lodge (also attended by Lindsay Lohan) they announced Mendes as the face for the launch of the Seductive Comfort collection for Calvin Klein Underwear. Reportedly, her curves and girl-next-door appeal are a perfect fit for the line and its target audience. Hot.

Mendes has had a great relationship with Calvin Klein for quite some time, particularly with their Creative Director Francisco Costa. They've dressed her for a number of hi-profile events including this year's Independent Spirit Awards and last year's Fashion Rocks, often alongside Costa. A direct result of a blossoming friendship between the two Latinas. Costa, who is currently nominated for the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award at this year's CFDA Fashion Awards, most likely will have the curvy Calvin Klein-clad Mendes by his side as his hot red carpet accessory.
Here is our suggestion of a look from fall she might consider wearing. Dark, but very elegant. Maybe they can recreate in a custom color just for her:
I guess a stint in rehab can do a body, er, image good after all.

Eva is not a Cuban-American. She was born in Miami, and that makes her an American. Period.

The thing I hate the most about reading columns on BV is that they never seem to take the time to spell check. One caption says Eve Mendes and yet another says Eva Mendes. I have seen the same on other columns in BV. Can ya'll get it together????

For comment #1, I didn't know it was such a big deal---I wasn't born in Africa, still call myself African American---and that's the box that I check off or the bubble I fill in...that's the 'pc' way, but whatever. I didn't know she went to rehab--we need to pray for these people--every other person in Hollywood is in rehab for one reason or another---but besides that...she seems like a beautiful person...so do you and get better.

it doesn't matter if she was born in miami or not she is still cuban. i was born in los angeles but i am still panamanian..goodness gracious. anyway, i know she will do well as the new model for calvin klein!. Had no idea she was in rehab, wow
