Even though L.A. was in the midst of a heat wave, celebrities did nothing but bring more heat to The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, held at Hollywood's Kodak Theater.

Our favorite girlfriend, Sherri Shepherd co-hosted the event. Sheri, who appeared slightly thinner, looked fresh in a vibrant, blue dress, with matching wide, belt cinched at the waist. This was Sherri's first time co-hosting and surprisingly her fist time attending the Emmy's.

Tyra Banks looked... um, nice as she headed to the stage to collect the Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show/ Informative. "My mama's crying like a baby!" said Tyra.. ( I bet she is!) The heat was so bad that Tyra kept her make-up artist close by to deal with smudges and mishaps.

Niecy Nash out shined even the sun in this bright yellow frock with signature flower placed in hair. She attended the event to support her friend and ours, Sherri Shepherd.

Eva Marcille looks so very chic and well,-put together and wonderfully groomed and her date, Lance Gross, is the handsome to her pretty. But I had no idea what she was doing at the Daytime Emmy Awards show. Do you?
