As the weather heats up here in North America, fashionistas are rocking some serious footwear. For the past few weeks I've taken stock of the latest looks in summer shoes, from the oh so fab gladiator to the neon slingback pump to retro looks like the moccasin and the saddle shoe..summer style is in serious effect. Peep some of the looks below and defo get ready to incorporate them into your wardrobe this summer!
Tribal and animal inspired fashion has found its way to us from head to toe. Take style note of the leopard theme. 
Keeping in tune with the retro style of the 80's, neon colored sandals (think lime greens and juicy oranges) are quite the look this summer! 
In case you didn't clue in from the SATC movie, the summer shoe boot is the hottest trend going on RIGHT NOW in summer sandals. 
On another note, some alternative throwback styles, that seem to have taken center stage include, black pumps with bobby socks, the moccasin and saddle shoes! Yowser!

Most of these "Summer '08 Shoes are not a "Trend" but a "Tragedy"! OMG, those gladiator shoes are ugly as heck! People, can you imagine women walkin around with these shoes with CORNS & BUNYANS, OMG! The straps on those bad boys looks like it can cut off your circulation! NOT CUTE AT ALL! Then we have the high heel pumps, I can see women of all sizes tryin to squeeze their feet and toes up in there? Tryin to look cute but HURTIN THEIR FEET IN THE PROCESS! Looks can be deceiving? I'm not the one!
Last those Moccasin and Saddle shoe throwbacks. needs to be THROWN in the GARBAGE! Not feelin it at all,yall!

Hey, shoe designers! Most of us are hurtin' in the
pocketbook, thanks to the recession! Who can afford
to spend money to end up with nothing but hurtin' feet
and ugly shoes? You can't eat the damn shoes when
your belly is growling due to high food prices and
you sure as hell can't convert shoes into shelter like
Mother Hubbard's shoe house! Sell those uglies to someone crazy enough and desperate enough to wear anything just for the sake of being "in style"!

some women can wear these shoes and look good doing it . the ones with the bobbi soxs with some plaid a girlish look on your face and I'll follow you anywhere. everything is not for everybody
