I can't believe that New York City's Spring 2009 Fashion Week is only a few weeks away. It feels as if it was only yesterday when I was under the white tents of Bryant Park watching as the city's "beautiful people" sashay the catwalk in fabulous fall fashion, while wearing my own fab frocks thank you very much! Since time passes rather quickly it is easy to see how the days can lack variety. However, there is some new excitement in the air and that is Rachel Roy!

Roy will design a signature cocktail dress for Grey Goose Vodka. The brand's models will adorn the black and blue creations made from stretch wool, with a draped neckline and a cascade of fabric on the back, during Fashion Week, select parties, and other sponsored events across the country, including the Emmy Awards. The dresses, will also make their debut at the designer's Spring 2009 show on September 4. Two great spirits, one chic dress!

Besides joining with Grey Goose, Roy has also joined the green bandwagon by designing eco-friendly clothing, which she will continue to selectively incorporate in seasons to come. She will donate 100% of the proceeds to Orphan Aid Africa, an organization that aims to help orphans in Ghana.
Roy's lady-like designs and elegant, chic style makes her the popular designer amongst the smart women set.

Your headline is wrong, funny, but wrong. Not Rachel Ray.

I'm not feelin' these dresses. Is it supposed to be haute couture? It seems like either too much is added to an outfit, or something's missing. However, I wish her good luck with her line.

I like the black dress with the bold blue in the back but that's about it. Sorry!
