With the political and economic upheavals of the past few days, more people are looking for change, even the fashionistas. This voting season, designers are showing us that fashion is not at all superficial.
So, put the political bumper stickers in the car trunk and place the slogan buttons in your junk draw, because politically minded designers have created chic Obama gear for democratic fashionistas who support change, but must also support their high end style.
Runway to Change is a union of more than 25 designers who have created special pieces of clothing or accessories featuring Obama's campaign logo or message. From T-shirts to tote bags, the limited-edition designer items are available on the candidate's website: http://store.barackobama.com/Runway_To_Change_s/1034.htm

I find this whole slogan Obama is using is ironic. Change? Yeah, change is all you are going to have in your pockets if Obama becomes president!

Don't feel Obama at all. I am voting for Sista Cynthia Mckinley of the Green Party. Obama reminds me of slavery like all mulattoes do. Once he threw Jeremiah wRight and the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan under the bus to satisfy his jewish handlers and patties I was finish with him. And stop making excuses for him that he has to certain things to get elected. Blacks are the only group that must forget where they come from in order to calm other groups' fears. It should be a heavy-set, dark-skinned woman in his position anyway, because that group of Black women has been the backbone of the Black community since our arrival here. The mulatto is always coming out on top and they never do the heavy lifting. But, that is one of the perks of been on top of a caste system.

blkmoses,
Why instead of throwing away your vote, why not just vote for McSame? Since you come from a place of hatred (Jews--like your screen name, whites, mixed race--did I miss one?) your support is more aligned with those who'll vote for McSame only to keep the dreaded "mulatto" out of the White House. (Not that all McCain voters are racist--many are delusional or simply in need of medical supervision. Also perhaps a good match for you.)
If you don't like the caste system, stop nurturing it! By the way, Mckinley's not "dark" or really very heavy, and her running mate does not meet your criteria at all.

It is absolutely fascinating to see the real racists. Listen to some of the silly excuses some of the racist use as to why they don't support Obama. They come up with the lamest off the wall excuse imaginable. Luckily all white folks are not racists and there are lots of good white folks who just keep it real, so this is not targeted at all white folks. Blacks for years support white candidates, but when it come to alot of the racists whites, they can not under any circumstances support a black candidate. Some would rather support an airhead like Palin rather then support a black man. They try to convince themselves that their excuses are legit. When Sarah Palin interviewed with Katie Couric, she had no assitance, no teleprompter, and no script...we saw the real Sarah Palin. The interview was the truth but many racists folks dont want to accept that. Give me one good reason why Sarah Palin came across a an idiot with Katie Couric other then the fact she is? Her debated was coached, her acceptance speach was coached and she read from a teleprompter. How hard could that be? My dead great great grandmotehr who was a slave could have handled Katie Couric better.

Ok. Everyone has and is entitled to their own opinion or life experience; here is mine. It's amazing how the color divide(s) reach through the years from the past. Some of you are truly dedicated to that. Aren't you? We are all still stuck in stupid ..as the saying goes. I said we because I'm not perfect. Have you noticed that everything else in nature is beautifully colored? Strangely, we love colors on and in everything else except ourselves, human beings..ie animals, butterflies, fish. Nature (natural) has no problem with color, only we intelligent, psycho-analysing, dominant, ambitious, perfect (ha!) species. So smart we are! and So insulting ... We refer to ourselves as "whitey" and "mulatto" and "black moses"... Is that all that's to ya? Are you just white? just mixed? just black? just a pigment? a test tube something? We have beautiful eyes and we can't see. Why not just have an IQ of 10 and simply rip out your brain? You're not using it. Why not just give away your heart/your mind ...IF you don't feel anything? When you look at another man or woman or kid, you're hatin' before you perceive? before you really know. What good is your perception when you only listen to the 'voices'.(i'm not crazy..other people) You could have an "angel" standing before you and you wouldn't perceive it because you don't like purple or gold angels. I think there is a lot to be said for forgiveness and respect. So what! Your great great great was a KKK? Get it together! So what if you're blacker than the average bear...more African? That's beautiful! BUT Your kid might not look like you...be careful how you trap yourself hating light skinned black people? No one can change themselves outwardly or anyone else OR how folk think about it? But everyone can have RESPECT for other human beings. What did you just say? (smile) It's YOU not THEM! YOU are AFRAID!..as in cowardly. Afraid that you are going to lose what you really have never had anyway? Afraid someone is going to TAKE something from you. Afraid to take a chance. Afraid to reach. Afraid to negotiate. Afraid to stand up. Afraid to be original? Afraid to see for yourself what you are so sure you think you know. Excuse the length of this...and I'll excuse some of what I just read.
