There are very few TV shows this season to turn to for style cues. With this in mind, Stylespotter decided to weigh in on the best and worst dressed women in television.
The concept, started by the recently deceased Richard Blackwell, highlights those who give meaning to the term fashion victim as well as fashion victorious. And because the list of hit and misses changes constantly we've also added extra celebs on our radar. Remember, money and access don't guarantee style.

I am going to confess. I don't watch a lot of Television or go to that many movies. In most cases I just don't like how our race is being portrayed.
When it comes to who got "THE LOOK", not many. To be classy is something that no amount of money can buy. It is born within. Mr. Richard Blackwell was truly a CLASS act. He not only talk the talk, but walk the walk!
By the way, I don't care if it's a male or female , when you have Tattoo's, you just look cheap!

It is unclear if they only mean the characters or the actress themselves. It appears for some they mean the character (Vanessa Williams on Ugly Betty) and for others the actress ( Tichina Arnold). The headlines implies they would be talking about the character. I will agree that Vanessa Williams character on ulgy Betty wears very nice clothes and they fit her well and always look fabulous.

I think it's pretty easy to forget sometimes that these celebrities do NOT dress themselves! The majority of the looks seen on the red carpet, for movie premiers, personal appearances and even just out on the town are thrown together by stylists. Why else would someone like Rachel Zoe, and reality shows like "Glam God", "Fashion Police", and now "Stylista" are on the air? It's a rare time that a celeb is seen in a look that they've put together themselves(maybe the terry or velour warmup suit, the droopy sweatpant or stretched out t-shirt shots the paps love to take), even the "casual" outfits with a pair of jeans, boots, a shirt of some kind, and a jacket are done by a stylist! I like someone like Whoopi Gooldberg, who at least has the guts to wear what she likes and feels comfortable in, not something she "should" be wearing, isn't afraid of a fashion misstep, and could give less than a damn about who says what about her outfit. As for tattoos, I have one, and BETTYEJ, the only cheap thing about me is that I shop at Daffy's. I waited until I was in my mid 30's to rock it, and it symbolizes the love I have for my parents in Chinese. The next time you want to dis someone for a personal choice, make sure you use the proper spelling next time, because all you did is make yourself look illiterate(tattoo=one, tattoos= more than one, tattoo's=not what you meant).

A woman who is not on TV as an actress, but we will be seeing a lot of her and I think she is truly elegant is Michele Obama. She wears reasonably priced clothing and looks super fabulous. I am a tall black woman and aspire to rock a dress from Chico's the way she does.
am a woman of color and am now in shape, with curves and some meat on my bones. I look healthy, eat well, and have lowered my cholsterol and am the fittest I have been in years.
I strive to eat healthy and lead by example for my daughters. I eat flax every morning for health and weight loss reasons. I have the same breakfast now every day. I have a banana low fat yogurt with golden roasted flax for breakfast every day. It is filling, keeps me regular and tastes fabulous (kinda like sesame seeds). My Weight Watchers leader recommended fitflax to me and it definitely helped
the last 10 pounds to melt off. It is low carb and low cal. It is a flax and chia blend and I think I read about it in O mag. They also listed a code to get 10% off. The site is http://www.fitflax.com and the code for 10% off is HAPPY10

UMMMM could that be because they are not "women of color"? I do hate that phrase as I figure we are all women of color, there are many colors in the spectrum, even the so called "white race" has many hues.

Just one question...how many "black voices" would cry out racism if there was a "white voices" web site, or a white pride parade, or white college fund, or Miss White America, etc. I am all for people of all ethnic and races to be able to speak their minds, but why is it when the white person creates something for only whites, its racism? Maybe Obama can bring this nation into the 21st century, and we can stop all racism.

Look, I ain't prejudice, I voted for Borack Obama, my 1st. boyfriend was black, but I was expecting to see some white folks on their too. Oh, thats right, only black and hispanic people dress nice.
