Known as the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul," Mary J. Blige has been heating the air waves since 1989 with her soulful voice and style. With eight albums and eight Grammys under her belt, Ms. Blige has been considered a pioneer in R&B by helping to define and redefine music as we know it today. Over the years, we've seen Mary's music and personal life evolve right before our eyes. From "rainy days" to "no more drama," she's been through it all. Although the up-and-down battles seem to be behind her, one thing that has definitely remained constant in her life is her love of boots. When it comes to boots, Mary can't seem to get enough of them. The R&B diva switches her boots -- which range from suede to leaver to fur to metallic -- so often we lost count. Check out some of the hottest -- and not-so-hot -- boot choices of our beloved Mary J. Blige.

Mary is the truth. She's not some put-together product of what some marketer decided a pop diva should be. She's Mary. Take it or leave it. That's why her non-traditional look is so appealing. She's got curves, and, like our First Lady, isn't afraid to show them. Her vocal range is limited, but that allows her emphasize lyrics instead of all that screaming that hides what the song is all about. And those who disagree probably want a repeat of what's expected and can't comprehend what's real.

Being a White man living in a rural area, my only complaint about living where I do is the lack of beautiful sisters like Mary. Mary is no doubt one of the finest women in the world. I don't know what her personality is....only in my dreams...but as far as looks, sex appeal, sound of her voice.mmmmm, she makes me quiver.

Love boots, but do the over the knee boots make her look shorter, and the thighs big? I think all boots should be under the knee for the most flattering look. I have noticed this with most all over the knee boots.

You sure her name isn't "Bilge" instead of "Blige?"
Never heard of her, so I'm sure she'll be missed...not

Blige`s voice should be blasted around airports to scare birds away. All she has is a big mouth.Sorry, but I`m from the days of DinhaWashington and Mary Wells. Those two were singers. God; I miss them.
