The College Survival Guide
A Fridge
Regardless of whether you have a wonderful sized meal plan, your fridge may come in handy with leftovers or when you feel like stocking it with bottled drinks.
Computer
The convenience of a computer is essential when sending your kids off to college. Forget the hike to the computer lab across campus students need a computer in the comfort of their room. A printer comes in handy as well. Depending on whether your child plans to carry his laptop around campus, you might opt for a desk top since they're lighter on the pockets.
Snacks
You will surely survive with off of a meal plan but it doesn't hurt to stock up on snacks when you don't feel like leaving your dorm room. Bottled water, pop corn, cereal and Ramen noodles are all low budget snacks to stock up on. Just be weary of the freshman 15.
Things from home
Some college students suffer from homesickness the first year. It's best to surround yourself with things like photos of the family, pillows or even stuffed animals. Anything that reminds your child of home.
MP3 Player
With all the stress that comes from school and exams, sometimes it's nice to block out the chaos in your life and even your roommate with music. It's nearly impossible to find students walking to class who aren't jamming to tunes.
Budget
Students who enter college often come in at the ripening age of 18. A great time for credit cards. Parents beware, your child may end up ruining their credit at a young age
Alarm Clock
When you're in college you don't have the luxury of getting awaken by your parents. It's now your responsibility to get to class on time so alarm clocks are a must. But keep your roommate in mind. You shouldn't wake him up ever morning with a blow horn alarm.
Cleaning supplies
Now you don't necessarily need to bring in the rubber gloves, mop and gas mask but it doesn't hurt to bring along Clorox all purpose wipes for spills or dust. Vacuums and brooms come in handy too depending if you have a carpeted dorm.
Bedding
What most parents aren't aware of is that most college beds are twin sized but extra long and require special sheets. When shopping keep your eye open for sheets that clearly state 'extra long' or else your child may come up short.
Shower shoes
You really don't know what some people do in the shower these days. College showers are known to be creeping with germs so spare yourself the fungus and purchase flip flops for the shower. You'll thank us later!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta looks like the Mary Jane Girls: All Grown Up. LOL! With all the money they "supposedly" have, you would think they would be more regal and better styled, rather than hang out at a bunch of cheesy D-list parties with Team Tang.

OK? I thought it was the spice girls revisited... they all look a hot mess to me. I never watched the show ( none of the housewives shows)... and bunch of winey females trying to outdo each other.
As much as I do not like Keith Sweat, I am glad he did not give his wife permission to put their sons on the show, they didn't need to be apart of that foolishness.
This show proves that people with money are just as ignorant as the people they look down upon.

Yikes...they all missed the mark! NeNe is my favorite on the show...she looks nice here, just not red carpet! It actually looks like they were all at separate events earlier and decided to make a go of the red carpet event! Lisa has a weird fashion sense...she is micro in size, yet wears clothing that doesn't always compliment her best! She has a beautiful face and figure...the dramatics are not necessary Ms. Lisa ~ you stand out just because...Yellow shoes...no...no...no ~ not red carpet at all! Sheree, girl why are you always trying too hard? You have on a gown...for what may I ask??? Why is your hair parted down the center and swept up like you missed your hair appointment? And why do expand your wings(arms) across the picture as if no one else is standing there with you??? You need an attitude adjustment along with a few etiquette classes on culture and how to get along with others!! Girl, learn to share the 15 minute spotlight! Kim...You you have a nice shape, most things you wear compliment you...but your hair and make-up is always too much! You are okay in the looks department...if you were to use less stage make-up, you would come across lighter(weight) and more natural...your hair is too much...it can be long and platinum, silver or whatever blond, you'd like...it just should match your complexion...it is as if, your hair is one corner, your face is in another corner, the bell rings and a fight ensues! We all know that you aren't black...that's cool...anyone who doesn't accept you because of your color is ignorant...stop trying to fit in, by trying too hard to be down...just be you...JUST BE YOU! You are funny as hell and probably really sweet, when you are being the real you! I am angry that Bravo released Ms. Snow...how tacky of Bravo...the one girl who had the complete folio together, however sheltered she did come across at times, she was really sweet and her and her hubby's shyt was together! Real love, Real family, no Ex-drama, a desire to help within the community, this girl was dynamic, perhaps she was too goody-goody, for Bravo to place within the mix of the other drama going on with the show,(I feel this way largely by the people they have asked to step in as a replacement for Mrs Snow, namely...Mrs. Raymond Usher, I am glad she declined!) back to Ms. Snow, I feel like she was a balancing act for the show and refreshing to see! That's okay Ms. Snow...God has other more important things for you to do! Keep smiling and yes there are people out here who appreciate human beings like you! Peace & Love to you all!

Your right, as long as NeNe will get a decent bra and get the girls adjusted to their maximum potential. Sheree, like you said needs to get a attitude adjustment, life is not all about her. Personally, I like a softer body-type. Too much muscle makes women look like transvers, and yes the hair on Kim is a Hot Mess, but can be fixed. She should remember too, God don't like Ugly!! and that means in attitude. Maybe Mrs. Snow felt the show was too much for her, she is not quite as nasty as the rest of them. But of course, I will keep watching, as my life is boring as h***.
