Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas of TLC is surprisingly conservative about family. This 38-year-old single mother believes in home cooking, spending quality time with her kids and minimal television or computers. A fashion icon of sorts, Chilli broke barriers for women in her TLC heyday, bringing a youthful yet not overtly sexy style to popular culture. These days, Chilli is a spokesperson for Dasani water's Ultimate Style & Beauty campaign targeting African American moms, and she has also launched a personalized handbag line (Bags By Chilli). She is currently doing TLC spot dates with Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and, of course, is raising her 11-year-old son, Tron. Chilli gives us a look into her sexy-cool life by discussing her fashion icon, her favorite shoe designer and how she handles dating as a single mom. Would she would ever deign to cut her hair? Read on to find out. ...

I think it's high time we as Afro-Americans get back to the basics and start putting focus on commitment and marriage.I can't help but to see a lot of the entertainers and actresses are leading this pathetic trend of single parent.Afro -American women lead other women of race with 75%households single mother with children, many times with more than one or two different fathers Sisters there is nothing proud of not being married and creating a race of "Bastards" as the scripture would describe. You have been "Bamboozled"with this so called independent, women's liberation foolinhness....your not needing a man or you can raise a family by yourself. A FAMILY CONSIST OF THE MAN TOO.....Man nor Woman is not independent of each other and there are too many Afro-American female entertainers advocating "single Parenting and casual dating....And we wonder why our sons are dying on the streets and our daughters glorify being a "Freak".If a man or woman is not willing to marry and commited to you ,then they don't deserve you...stop being "Sluts" for a man and playing yourself with this independent foolishness."SISTERS", yall look bad in the eyes of others,really.....Stop proving the evil slave master William Lynch right....Chilli and others like you, please be an example to the sisters and get a husband ,father for your children as a complete family and stop raising "Bastards"....THERE ARE TOO MANY OF "US"..OK

Women wouldn't be single parents if it weren't for the men that walk out on them and their families and choose not to valuse wives and being fathers.
