Plumed, embellished and endlessly eye-catching, Louis Vuitton's Spicy Sandals are without a doubt the hottest runway shoe of the season. A celebrity favorite, the spicys have been spied on everyone from Beyonce and Ciara, to Amber Rose and Christina Milian, accenting plaid shirtdresses, lbds and jeans and tees alike.
In an International Herald Tribune article, editor Suzy Menkes conjectured, "To spice up this footwear, the designer [Marc Jacobs] added everything but the kitchen sink," with snakeskin and semi-precious stones setting the tone for the Josephine Baker-inspired sandals.
To get your own pair, they'll cost you $1,650 to $3,000. But for an endlessly versatile shoe that equally accents jeans and Grecian gowns-celebrities think they're worth the price?

If I were a celebrity I would not be purchasing this shoe that everybody and their mama has been photographed wearing. Besides that, I think its tacky. Its not where I want my recession dollars to go. LV will have to come up with something more classic.

The shoe is no doubt sexy, but does not complete the look..., it could be a $6,000 pair shoe and she would still only be at 50% if those feet are toe-up. So my question is: Do the feet make the shoe, or does the shoe make the feet?

The shoes in my opinion is too damn expensive. Yes, the shoes are nice but I wouldn't buy them if I had the $$$$. Why were what the other celebrities are wearing? If I were a celb, I would be different and by shoes were others wouldn't know about. But at the end of the day I know that the celb's feet are hurting in the process.

These shoes look like something a hooker would be wearing on the street corner. Anyone who would wear these shoes clearly has no class what so ever...

If they have that kind of money to throw away, shame on them, kids going hungry everynight, nothing to eat when they wake up in the morning. Shame on them that they would throw their money away on a pair of shoes. Just Crazy...Wow What A heart,

Most of these celebrities don't pay for these shoes. The shoes are given to them by the designer knowing they will be photographed all over the place(like BV). Then they can charge celebrity worshipers $1300 for a $50 shoe, and people will happily max out their credit cards to get a pair.

I agree with someone who wrote that those shoes are toooo expensive. And they are ugly, that's just too much goin' on in a small space. I also think that celebrities could do something more meaningful with that amount of money instead of copying off of each.

If you are going to comment, at least learn to speak....The shoes "are"is the correct way to state the sentence. You look even more ridiculous when you can't state your stupid comment correctly.

Your stupid because nobody don't know who the hell you are referring to? There is a reply button, to reply to the person you are talking about. Oh, I guess you didn't use your brains to do that? Who the hell you are you? People can write however they please on any blogs. This isn't work. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS, Mr. or Ms. Grammar king or queen. What are you going to do, take people of the site with your non-nonsense BULL or take off points for every time you see somebody misspelling a word or their grammar is not corrected? You need to correct your ISH first instead of correcting other people! Anyway, I don't like the price and the shoes. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing the high heel shoes.
