The 2009 MTV Movie Awards went down last night in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheater, and there were memorable moments both on and off the red carpet. British actor Sasha Baron Cohen's aerial stunt that ended with his bare butt landing on homophobic rapper Eminem's face was the biggest scene stealer of the night. And the other? Gladiator heels. The biggest celeb trend of the night was worn more than any other style (besides, of course, the LBD, or little black dress). There was more experimenting and risk taking than any other awards ceremony because, hey, it's MTV.
Actress Taraji P. Henson stepped out in a short, choppy 'do that topped her short black dress with white print. The ruffle detail in the back made it super haute. I was really feeling Forest Whitaker and his wife, Keisha, both in gray. He wore a suit sans tie with gray-soled Nike Air Dunks. It complemented his wife's silver dress, which flattered her fabulous form quite nicely. The former model consistently puts most women with four children to shame!
Keke Palmer was pretty in a pink dress and gray suede shoes. Rapper Lil' Mama both shocked and disappointed as usual. Although the strapless turquoise dress was a step up for her and softened her a bit, the bright yellow pumps looked cheap and threw off the cute style, which will surely inspire many teens heading to the prom.

Others very deserving of the worst-dressed award included Britney Spears' ex-hubby's baby mama Shar Jackson in a black halter with a chain link print and a red-tipped bob haircut; 'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart, who sported a belted dress with Converse sneakers, was more college campus than red-carpet ready; Cameron Diaz in jeans and a leopard print shirt, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter Rumer who rocked an ethnic-inspired getup and Lauren Conrad of 'The Hills,' whose rose-print frock was two thumbs down.

Keke Palmer

Forest and Keisha Whitaker
On the best-dressed list were 'High School Musical' star Ashley Tisdale, who impressed in a gray leather mini with gladiator wedges; 'Transformers' Megan Fox, whose strapless black with gold-print dress was stunning; and Sienna Miller who looked fab in a green sequined long-sleeve mini dress from her Twenty8Twelve line.

Male hotties in the building included Tyrese Gibson, Denzel Washington and athlete-turned-actor Rick Fox.

Risk takers, if you're gonna "do you" (because MTV's red carpet does allow more flexibility than others) do it right: The Afro on 'High School Musical' co-star Monique Coleman didn't quite jive with her very upscale silver Katy Rodriguez dress and Christian Louboutin heels. Maybe the look should have been more ethereal with the hair. Or vice versa.

SOME OF YOU PEOPLE HAVE NOT GOT A CLUE WHEN IT COMES TO FASHION. I DO NOT CARE IF YOU PAY 1 MILLION ON A DRESS IF IT DOES NOT FIT YOUR BODY TYPE IT IS A COMPLETE DISASTER.

Hello Everyone I hope that all is well with Everyone. Opinions are so exciting,I love hearing and/or reading so many ideas and ways of thinking, people are so interesting... So here is my take on this subject. The First Place Award goes to Mr.& Mrs.Whitaker, because they do look sharp, it's about time. The representation is a mouth full to every generation. The are married, rearing a family, they remind many of us that folk used to always look like that back in the day. It was sweet.Check out some old family photos, old books, check out some old movies from back in the day(s),ask somebody.Look back, folks always "dressed".Second Place Award is chosen for Ms.Taraji Henson she share of herself, confident, positive, active self esteem level, she was able to do her because she takes care of herself, likes who she is and enjoys being Ms.Henson. I really like the dress is a 'wordly" look, you know she bought it because it made her all that and more wearing it.And her hair cut topped it off so well. Last but not least by any means is Ms. KeKe Palmer. She is youthful, stylish, happy with life(you know for the most part)and everyone knows the hottest new fashion shoe are the "gladiators" for Spring/Summer2009 with anything you choose to wear. She portrays a woman(of any age) who just loves being a woman,(girl feeling cute, you can tell she must like shoes, that's her flavor we all have them, not just one either. The remainder of the group should have been in the audience maybe(?)
And the fellows should have never been allowed in. Why? Well it's just that dressing for the occasions and looking the best is oh so classy.(What's wrong wit you Willis?)Oh,Oh, Okay, y'all they did have them pulled up. We love you too Bro',next time O.K.? You all know we decided to upgrade, right.
Pardon my typos
Thank you, and, to ONE and All Y'all
LoveJoyPeace.

Hello EVERYONE, I hope All is well.I enjoy reading comments on the web, there are so many different opinion, thoughts and ideas,it's so cool too,I learn so much.My take on this subject is First Place Award goes to Mr.&Mrs.Whitaker,they say husband and wife, mother and father, you can certainly see she takes good care of herself(four children you say?)The dress is so "look a sexy me" statement. They compliment one another,in fact their entire personna speaks volumes.Check the old family photos, watch some old back in the day movies, books, ask somebody.SecondPlace Award is presented to Ms.Taraji Henson she portrays confidence,a healthy self esteem, she likes who she is and is becoming with no apologies. To the people who matter they know the dress was not purchased at anything less than a chi boutique. And the hair cut did set it off. Last but not least by any means is Ms.KeKe Palmer who recieves the Third Place Award.
She makes a statement too everybody knows "galdiator" shoes are the hot fashion for Spring/Summer 2009 and can be worn with anything.Fashions are "individual" some can and some can't, some do and some don't. She appears to enjoy being a woman(of any age),just 'girlie". Why not? The others should have remained in the audience, maybe(?) As for the fellows could have stayed home it wasn't about them this time, but dressing for the occasion say "classy" a lot louder. Oh,oh okay, yea, they did have them pulled up, we love ya' Bro, but next time o.k.? Ya'll know we said we were going to up grade, up,you know? Okay then maybe Mrs,Whitaker and KeKe could switch, hey? Gladiator shoes that's so transforming,Can I just "LADIES!" Shucks she got her own thing, she is not afraid to do her, unique.
Pardon my typos.
Thank you ONE and ALL ya'll

The dresses in this blog are beautiful! I agree with some of the previous comments, these outfits are a bit innappropriate for formal wear on the red carpet. But i have to say, Ashley Tisdale is absolutly gorgeous in her dress. I really enoyed reading this blog!
