Politicians and their wives rarely get caught up in PETA squabbles. That's usually reserved for the Aretha Franklins and Lindsay Lohans of the world, but France's first lady, Carla Bruni, recently drew attention from the intimidating animal right's organization for supposedly wearing fur. She maintains that she never buys or wears the real thing, but the incident begs the question: How does her fellow first lady (and partner in fashion) Michelle Obama feel about fur?"We've never written to Michelle Obama about this issue because we have always known her to be fur free," Amanda Schinke, media campaigns coordinator for PETA, told the Washington Times. Mrs. O's spokesperson said the same.

Obviously some people don't give a crap about the cruelty inflicted on animals to get their fur. How would you like it if you died a painful death in a steel trap or had an electrode stuck up Your Ass to electrocute you, to get your fur? There are plenty of warm fashionable materials to use other than fur. You just showed the ugly pompous, insensitive cruel side of your soul. How can you stand yourself?

There isn't physical proof that Adam and Eve even existed?!

Actually, the first clothing worn by Adam and Eve wasn't animal skins, but fig leaves. Fur = murder.

Amen to that! In the Book of genesis, it clearly states that God gave man dominion over the animals, AKA it is not a sin to eat their flesh or wear their skins. With all the human suffering in this world, how can you care about the ights of a fox more than a starving child? You self-righteous doofuses need to get over it and care about people.

Have you ever seen a mink in real life, or a video on what is done to these animals to turn them into "your" coat? I have nothing against eating meat and using the entire animal. I do however have problems with skinning animals alive for their fur, letting them die a horrible death, after a life in cages, and letting the rest of their body rot and not even be used for food... Maybe you should do some research before you speak?!?

Then why not let your own fur grow?

I wear fur and leather, and I eat meat. You can call me whatever you want - I believe animals were put on this earth for humans comfort, whether as a pet or as food or as clothing. I am more concerned about making sure humans eat and are clothed than I am about the "poor little animals". And how dare you tell me what to eat or wear!!!!

You know what anmal lovers, I don't give a *&*& what you say, or how the animals are killed. How about that. I still will wear my mink, and my fox, and my 2 lamb shearling coats. A lot of the meat from the animals used for fur are put into cheap dog and other animal food. Plus these videos that you talk abut were most likely filmed in foreign countries that we have no control over. BUT again, following the extreme liberal manifesto, they still want to impose their will onto the people of the world so that everyone everywhere lives according to their ways.
