It's true: I don't know you, your personal style, or your clothing budget. But, I bet I am spot on with this guess: you absolutely adore this shirt! (Please comment if I am wrong!) If you don't, I'll be surprised. The tee, which I spotted on the
Michelle Obama style blog,
Mrs. O, is a bi-partisan crowd pleaser. It was inspired by an outfit worn by Obama during the presidential debates. For the look, the first lady paired a trio of
Erickson Beamon floral brooches with her signature single strand of pearls. The combination was elegant, eclectic and inspired. It's printed on American Apparel tri-blend tee and costs only $30. Naturally, the shirts are nearly sold out. Only one size - small - remains. If so that's your current - or hoped for - size,
grab yours before they are all gone!

Yeah, that's just about right. She wears the real thing but all the rest of us have to wear the fake tee shirt. It's ugly, tacky, and looks cheap, not chic. No, thank you.

What a disaster, as a designer of shirts for all sorts of occasions I can't inagine anyone with even a
GRAM OF GOOD TASTE would be seen in this rag.

Can't agree with you more Lori. Your statement is right on even with the healthcare debate. She will have the real thing while we will have to settle for crumbs. This administration smells really bad due to all of its arrogance.

You must be blind. Any first lady with "class" would not wear a T-shirt with fake pearls and flowers. Shop at goodwill or salvation army for your next outfit.

I resent this comment. I'm over 40 and wouldn't even wear this to paint or do yard work in. Ugly.

I am 40+ and I do hate it. I wouldn't be caught in either way. It's cheesy looking. If you want to look right, wear the real jewelry. It would look much more appealing.
