While housewives Nene, Lisa, Kim, and Kandi were notably absent, dozens of people, including Sheree's hairstylist Lawrence, made it to the fashionable downtown venue to support:

Supermodels Then & Now
Before Naomi there was Naomi Sims who entered the fashion world in 1967. With her brown skin, gorgeous face and memorable walk, Sims quickly rose the ranks, appearing on the cover of Life magazine in 1969. She's often referred to as the first black supermodel.

Although she had the potential for a long career, Sims gave up modeling to start her own wig business at the age of 24. Since then, Sims has written several books about beauty, modeling and success and launched her own cosmetics line, the Naomi Sims Collection. She died of cancer at the age of 61 in 2009.

In 1986, Kimora Lee Perkins's mother enrolled her uncommonly tall 11-year-old in modeling classes to boost her self-esteem. Just two years later, the girl we now know as Kimora Lee Simmons signed an exclusive modeling contract with Chanel in Paris becoming Karl Lagerfeld's muse by the age of 13.

After marrying hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, Kimora got out of modeling and into the design business, taking over as head of Baby Phat. Divorced from Simmons, with whom she has two daughters, Kimora now runs Baby Phat and the KLS collection, in addition to starring in a reality show and writing books. She recently had a baby boy with Oscar-nominated actor Djimon Hounsou.

Veronica Webb was just a 20-year-old design student when she was "discovered" on the streets of New York City in 1985. The Detroit-native soon became a fixture in magazines and on the runway, making history by becoming the first African American model to sign an exclusive cosmetics contract (Revlon).

Officially retired from the runway, Webb has seamlessly transitioned from fashion to the worlds of television, movies and book publishing. Most recently, Webb co-hosted the first season of Bravo's 'Tim Gunn's Guide to Style.' She lives in the Florida Keys with her husband and two daughters.

Beverly Johnson, a champion-swimmer-turned-supermodel, is said to have graced more than 500 magazine covers in her long and storied career. The most famous cover of all? Her history-making 1974 Vogue cover. She was the first black woman to grace the cover of the American version of the magazine. She has said that by the age of 23, she was making more than $100,000 a year modeling.

Beverly Johnson, now a youthful fifty-something, has completely conquered the hair biz with her extremely successful wig line. She's also the co-host of TV Land's 'She's Got the Look,' a modeling competition show for women 40 and older.

While there is a laundry list of supermodels who have ruled the scene since the '60s, there are only a handful of male models -- of any race -- who can actually claim "super" status. Tyson Beckford is one of them. In 1991, at the age of 21, the New York-native got his modeling break when an editor from The Source spotted the looker at a NYC park. From there, Beckford went on to be the spokesmodel for Ralph Lauren Polo. The rest is history...

No longer a mainstay in magazines or on the runway, Tyson is staying relevant in the fashion world through his hosting gig on Bravo's 'Make Me A Supermodel.'

Instead of opting for a typical runway show, Sheree chose to present her designs three at a time on models who stood before the crowd and posed and turned at will:

"I went with a lot of classic styles," she said, "and just added a bit of an edge to it."
Most importantly, she told us how much her clothes will cost in stores -- anywhere from $200 to $2,000!
Would you spend $200 or more on a She by Sheree creation?

As much as Sheree ranted and raved about her being this 'BIG' time designer I expected a hell of a lot more. I wasn't impressed with any of it. The only thing she has going in her favor is the name for a line of clothes, She by Sheree other than that it's a rap.
She better take some pointers from Dwight on her show or better yet watch some episodes of Kimora Lee, she has the 'DIVA' attitude but look at all she has accomplished. Sheree has the diva attitude and absolutely nothing to back it, that's like putting the horse before the cart.
I watched the episode when she was told to start picking out her on material...you get what you pay for.
Sheree it would help if you would just bring your attitude down a notch or two and start taking advise from people who can direct and get you places.
She is as much a designer as Kim is a singer 'NOT'.

Its good to see her try to be an entrepreneur. But can you imagine a conversation with someone that goes something like this "girl what are you wearing", "girl this is She by Sheree", sorry but the name alone is almost laughable, her name is synonymous for being a gold digger, catty, and having a bad attitude. With this being said, maybe she can be more successful as a ghost designer. Can't ever see this as becoming a household name.

Wow, everyone is pretty hard on Sheree. It's true, her attitude is bad and she'd do well to learn a bit of humility. That would provide a more attractive image than the one she currently presents. While her line wasn't amazing, and a few pieces left something to be desired, there were a few rather nice pieces. To anyone stating they'd seen the same thing before in other decades: Everything is cyclical and fashion is no exception. There's nothing new under the sun.
I liked the white pants and pewter top. Yes, the one with the pant leg caught in the shoe. I think the silver coat was attractive as was the little black dress with the cardigan and boots. I also liked the back of the pewter dress. However, the front was a tad busy for my taste and unfortunately, you can't wear only the back of a dress. $200.00 for any of those particular pieces isn't too much for me. I've spent a a great deal more for classic and well made clothing. But, $2000.00, for pieces in her line as it stands today? That's another story. That goes along with her idea of deserving to arrive at Fashion Week in a Mercedes Benz provided Maybach, adorned in Tiffany jewels as the "hottest new designer" around. All that before she'd produced one item. She certainly has no shortage of ego and that's the problem most people have with her. Had that not been the case, perhaps her line would have been better received, at least here.
On the other hand, for my taste, Lisa's line was too busy and trendy in general. But, I give her props for pulling off what she did in such a short time. As she said, had she given herself more time, think what she could have done! I prefer a classic look and, for the most part, Sheree tried to provide that. But, both looks have a market. I don't understand why they'd book viewing dates so close to the date that they'd see their final products for the first time. They allowed themselves no time for any needed adjustments and locked themselves into what could have been (and often was) an embarrassing night. Quality can't be rushed and requires a lot of advance planning. It's would have been better to use the show, in the following season, to spring-board a line that's done well and ready to market. At any rate, I wish Sheree and Lisa all the best on their adventures in design. It's always good to see black women creating a path of their own.
On another note, I wish DeShawn Snow was still on the show. She was more representative of the majority of black women in Atlanta with money. She showed grace, kindness and always presented herself with class and decorum. I guess Mrs. Snow didn't create sufficient drama and controversy for Bravo to invite her back. That's a real shame. The new girl, seems to be sweet and down to earth. She doesn't have an over the top, I'm the end all to be all of everything type of personality. I like that. I'm thrilled that NeNe acquired a new stylist. She looks fabulous this season. As far as Kim is concerned, there is so much to be said. But, I'll leave it at this: She's wrong. Class is not determined by the amount of money one has. Not here in Atlanta or anywhere else. They are not one and the same and having one does not equate to having the other. While it helps to have both in any circle, you can be flat broke and still display great class. You can also be well established financially and repel absolutely anyone with even a modicum of class. Money may open a few doors and even allow one to be invited inside. But class is more often the quality that allows one to happily remain.

I too loved DeShawn Snow! I think Bravo showed they care more about drama than real people. Your comment about class was right on!

Regarding DeShaw not being on the show this season ( I too, miss her), I seem to remember hearing at the reunion show her saying that she was taking at least one season off to work on her Masters of Divinity. Whether she'll be back or not wasn't mentioned.
DeShaw was quite impressive with her charitable endeavors and efforts, though some were misplaced due to precipitancy, naivity and lack of information. I think there is some sabotage going on from the other Housewives. I can't pinpoint anything specifically, however, I'm sure one of the "ladies" could have helped her out a little more with the "auction" that so miserable failed!
Now, as far as Sheree's line of ready-to-wear, I think She would have been far better received if Sheree was not such an arrogant, egotistical, back-stabbing, wig-shifting (I really don't blame her for that one - actually wish it had been ripped off that...woman), seven-figure gold-digger. Some of the fashions were not bad and with Dwight's assistance they were pressed and accessorized appropriately (mostly, not thrilled with some of the fur pieces, however). Sheree's dress did look like a cross between a prison matron and an upscale Amish madam...the shoes were just plain hideous. Morally offensive even if they are Christian Louboutin.
The thing that kills me about Sheree is that she actually has the audacity to call herself a DESIGNER!!! Hasn't she ever watched Project Runway and seen what it takes? Even if she doesn't watch the show, she knew enough last season to consult with one of it's designers from a past season, who happens to be from Atlanta - can't remember his name off hand - but she should have learned from him about the creativity, sketching, sewing, skill and excellent workmanship that is involved with being a real designer. Heck, I have sewn most of my life beginning back in junior high because I was heavy/fat. because I predate plus-sized clothes. In order to dress decently I had to make everything from blouses and skirts to dresses, suits and winter coats. And I actually created Spanx way before it came on the market by cutting the feet off my support pantyhose. I just weren't smart enough to patent and produce. My point is...I sew and "adjust" existing patterns to create my own "designs," but in no way am I a designer!Shree is living in dreamland if she seriously believes she is a designer of any magnitude. She may have some ideas but I sincerely believe this is where her ownership ends. I'd love to test her: Let Sheree sketch, determine how much fabric needed, buy the fabric and cut and sew accordingly. Let's see what we have after she does it ALL on her own in a timely manner and in a predetermined size. The outcome would be interesting.
I must make note of the others: Kandi, though I feel badly for her considering the AJ situation, I'm not particulary fond of her. And her voice...I can't believe she's a singer! And to tweak a rotten voice like Kim's to make it marketable is really an insult to her craft and all those in it. As Kim's previous voice teacher told Kim, she has no talent. What is Kandi thinking using technology to cover up all the sharps, flats, and just plain poor singing coming out of Kim's mouth. You could see the technicians cringing when the notes were coming out of her mouth.
And on the subject of Kim: If one can't say anything nice one shouldn't say anything at all...
NeNe I love. A little loud, a little brassy, but I love her and would to have her as a friend. She's amazing!
Back to Kim: Conniving, lying, superficial, gold-digging, narcissistic bitch. Sorry, couldn't help it.
Bye.
Lisa is absolutely honest about what she does. She is "Lisa by Others" and she boldly admits it. Her fashions look geared toward juniors, so therefore perfect for tweens and teens. Also, . hems should be about 2"-2 1/2". And aside from fashion, she appears to be a good, decent, sweet, funny loving wife and mother who is an incredibly hard worker who does not rely on her husband's income. She brings in money on her own accord

First, I would like to say that, I myself don't like sheree's attitude, however I will spend $200 bucks for something if I really liked it, no matter who designed it, but those clothes were horrible!!! Lisa's line were a little better, and her personality carrys her a long way. there were a few items in lisa's line that I would buy, in the she collection I saw nothing. There were things that I've seen already, nothing special. I must say I did expect a little more from Sheree. All the negative feedback is well deserved, because I feel like she was being a straight b**ch, by not supporting lisa in her fashion show.Lisa did attend Sheree's first wannabe fashion show with no clothes, she should have been there for lisa as well. God don't like ugly, and he ain't too kind on pretty!!!!

I wouldn't spend $10 on those tacky clothes. I refuse to refer them as fashion. Maybe Target or Walmart will sell them.

Your "gay-husband/stylist" got more attention than your actual line. If you ever wonder why, it's because he looks just as bad. I wouldn't buy anything from you because of him. Ewww!
