Fashion Week ended yesterday and it was full of parties, shows, and celebrity sightings!

BV on Style was on hand for the best of it all. Take a look at our Five Favorite Fashion Week Highlights:

1. Celebrity Parties

Stars came out in droves for DSquared2's and Gucci events wearing embellishments, platform heels, and fall's hottest 80s-inspired trend, strong-shoulder jackets. Some of our favorites were Amerie in a kelly green drape back cocktail dress and Rihanna in dramatic head to toe sequins.
2. The MTV Video Music Awards

Granted, this wasn't exactly a Fashion Week event, but the awards took place in New York. It kind of counts, right? Plus, how could we not mention the drama. From onstage outbursts to hip-shaking performances, the MTV Music Awards really added a bang to Fashion Week festivities. Stars made quite a splash on the red carpet, with Kanye West carrying a Hennessey bottle as an accessory and Amber Rose's shocking in a snakeskin catsuit.

3. Front Row Fixtures
Janet Jackson, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and more peppered the front rows of this weeks' fashion shows, wearing some of the best styles off the runway. Ciara looked great in Thakoon, Janet in Ralph Lauren and Kelly in Tracy Reese.

4. Baby Phat
Kimora presented her most wearable collection in years and we got a lovely view of newborn baby Kenzo.

5. Real Housewives of Atlanta Cameos

Dwight and Sheree both showed collections during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The scintillating presentations and performances invigorated northern audiences.
