She looks good, but isn't she making the point of the "documentary," one subtext of which is that black women prefer straight hair and are embarrassed and/or ashamed of what God gave them? I expected to see a no-chemical or non-artificial hairstyle.

But then again, she was a neutral party just attending the screening and had no duty to make a point of any kind, so don't get all up in arms at my previous point, everybody! I pride myself in being able to rethink my posts. Still, I stand by my comment about many black women's self-repulsion. We need to get over our hair he way we got over our skin color (at least some of us), and love and accept it.
