Each year, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund celebrates both established and emerging fashion designers with a lavish, celebrity-studded fashion show, while paying tribute to the leaders in the industry. This year's 4th Annual Front Row Fashion Show was a spectacular one and included homages to both Michael Jackson and supermodel Naomi Campbell, plus tons of celebrity attendees.

The event featured fashions from Russell Simmons Argyle Culture and Montgomery, just to name a few, and also brought out some of the most talked-about celebrities and taste makers in the industry, such as 'Real Houswives of Atlanta' cast member Sheree Whitfield and Sherri Shepherd, who, as hostess of the event, kept the laughs coming all night long.

BV on Style was on deck to bring you some of the hottest fashion highlights, and reveal just who came out red carpet ready.
As soon as Marlon Jackson stepped onto the red carpet it became quite apparent that he had a powerful presence, and a great sense of style. Marlon looked polished in a black-and-white pin stripe Ralph Lauren suit, with a pink and gray complimentary tie.

As the eldest brother and former member of the Jackson 5, Marlon came out to accept the Avant-Garde award in memory of his beloved brother, Michael Jackson.

"My family is doing as well as to be expected," he told us, "and at this time we are still in mourning, and we truly thank America for their support."

Despite the somber occasion, Jackson took a minute to describe his personal style.

"To be honest with you," he said, "if I like it, I just buy it. I don't go by names or anything. If it wears well, and looks great, I just purchase it."

We've seen this famous pair living it up on a luxurious yacht in the south of France, on the coat of Ibiza, Spain, geographically, in places all around the world, many of which, some of us couldn't begin to even pronounce. So when Naomi Campbell and her billionaire Russian boyfriend, (or as rumors have it, her soon-to-be-husband) Vladislav Doronin; sailed onto the red carpet, decked out in their Sunday's best, all became atwitter. Naomi looked absolutely stunning in Basso. The satin dress and architectural, see-through black jacket with puffed sleeves was to die for! The diva's main squeeze was the perfect complement to her flawless ensemble, as he looked quite dapper in a navy blue-gray suit and white collared shirt.

During her acceptance speech for the Fashion Icon award, the supermodel shared, 'I love fashion, and I am fortunate enough to have 25 years in this business. This year, is the campaign for more women of color to be featured in magazines and advertising. I am grateful for my award, and this is for all women of color.'

As the event host that evening, Sherri Shepherd came red carpet ready, dazzling in a form-fitting sea green dress by Japanese designer, Tadashi, with Judith Ripka jewelry and gold Jimmy Choos.

"I rely on a stylist," Shepherd told us about getting ready for red carpet events. "I need help! My look is sweat pants and something my four-year old can run all over me on, so I absolutely need help!"

As for Atlanta's resident fashionista, Sheree Whitfield? "I am mixing high and low," she said with a dazzling smile. As soon as the reality star turned fashion designer stepped onto the scene, she worked the red carpet like she owned it. After all, "who's 'gon check her, boo?!?" Looking chic in a Helmut Lang jacket, metallic gray American Apparel leggings and a Gucci handbag, Whitfield, without question, was the "all-star diva."

When we asked her about her wardrobe must-have for fall, she said, "Leggings! They go with everything. You can dress them up, you can dress them down. They are very versatile."
