Can't a man wear a full-length fur coat in peace? Kanye West, who has been doing it up in style since his return to the public eye to attend Men's Fashion Week shows in Paris, caught the negative attention of PETA late last week when he and his girlfriend, Amber Rose, wore these his and hers fur coats to the Louis Vuitton show. PETA vice president Dan Mathews had some choice words about the couple.
"Kanye can't help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show," he is quoted as saying on PETA's Web site. "He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo."
We're pretty sure both West and Rose would beg to differ on that last point. Could there be a Kelis-style blog rant in Kanye's future? It certainly wouldn't be the first time.

For some, even a certain amount of status cannot change the core of their sole, specifically, you can take the "blank" out of the ghetto, but you cannot take the ghetto out of the "blank". Though PETA has many issues and certainly does not hold true to its motto, I must agree with the lack of class and brutality of West...consider the source.

Kanye seems to have lost his mind since his mother's sudden passing. She was a classy woman with tasteful behavior and words. Since her presence is no longer physically here with him, his rude interruption of Taylor Swift's award win (whether he likes her music or not)was unacceptable & even got President Obama to comment Kanye being an idiot. His rants also confirm what a ignorant coward he is talking about race and society. Yes this is a free nation however he should follow the lead of persons like Maya Angelo, MLK, Charles Rangel, etc... who despises the talk of ignorance, racism, bigotry, & negative representation for the people of color. Please go away Kanye. Your contribution to society is null. Go away! Lets put our soldiers on the front page of news and our economy, not Kanye nor PETA's backlashes against each other. I bet you Dave Matthews eats meat. The animals may be slaughtered in a difference way for it's meat but, slaughter all the same. So shut up PETA and Dave, Go eat a hamburger! Go Mr. West, don't let PETA or anyone else dictate what you wear, go or do. Who is Dave Matthews to have an opinion of how someone looks or about what hwy wear. I bet the expensive suits he wears were made in a swat shop by little Asian kids! Check out your own closet before you comment on someone else. People always have stupid opinions and are stupid enough to put them out there as if they are really somebody.

OK PETA - why don't you take a trip to Russia and see if you can't get the Russians to stop wearing fur. I wear my fur so that I won't be cold. I will continue to wear this one until I can get another one. It is my right. I don't make the coat, I simply purchase and wear what I want. You folk need to get a life.

It became a problem about wearing furs when Africa Americans could afford to wear them.
