The French version of Elle recently launched an issue dedicated to plus size women, and according to the CDC, 67% of Americans aged 20 and over are obese.
Isn't it about time American magazines started to represent its plus size population?

Beautiful Gabby, doesn't need to be on a IGNORANT DISRESPECTFUL MAG like Vogue. I'm sure, Gabby will be featured on many well-respected MAGS and will keep it movin

Everyone is not a size 3. I know some men that would jump over 50 small women to get to Gabby.

Where does name calling get you..."pretty is as pretty does"...I agree with those who said forget the haters...there are alot of them out here doing nothing...this young lady is "working hard for the dollar" and I admire that...I say to her,"keep striving for your goals"I see you as God see you...one of his people.

It's alot of small size people with AIDS, Cardic diease, cancer and all types of dieases too. You are a wrong to say that she is ugly just because she is fat.If you look at 90% of Hollywood actresses and actors who are so called"pretty" they don't even look like themselves by the time t hey spent thousands of dollars on th eir faces and bodies.

I think we should let it go relative to Gabby's weight. Only adding fuel to the ignorance perpetuated by cruel people like Howard Stern. If she asks for help then let's help her, but if she is happy then it's her business in my opinion relative to her weight. People want to act like being fat is the worst thing in the world...it's not. If you want to "help" so badly go save all these celebrities who are addicted to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, sex, etc. Gabby may outlive them all! Or go "help" somebody in your community instead of making this child feel bad about her weight. By the way I am not overweight, in case you are wondering why I am defending her.

An old saying, pretty is, is pretty does. What's wrong with people today, they look at the outside.Size doesn't have anything to do with what's inside. We as Americans need to stop judging by looks. I think she is pretty in the blue gown. Maybe u need to look in the mirror vogue.

Gabby is big, so what? She is as much WOMAN, as a skinny size 1 woman, & she represents many other big women, who are pushed in the shadow of shame for being that size. I was once as big as her, & other people made my life miserable. I now have lost the weight after years of trying, BUT, a woman is a woman regardless of their weight, & I respect this young lady deeply.
