According to Women's Wear Daily, Kimora Lee Simmons will unleash a new trend-driven collection called Kouture.

Unlike Baby Phat and KLS lines, Kouture is completely trend driven, rather than urban and streetwear related, Lee Simmon's said.
She added, "I wanted to do something that spoke to a different market for Macy's...It sits in a different section. I wanted this to be crossover. I wanted this to be colorless and really about fashion. And it's what I call recession proof. It's really important to say that. You can get a cocktail dress with a bustier top and satin skirt for 30 bucks. You can get a great jean for $19.99."
Kouture by Kimora is priced from $19.99 to $34.99 at retail and will be available in 150 Macy's stores and online by July.
Beyonce and Tina Knowles are also expanding their House of Dereon empire with a line of sheets, bedding and housewares.

The new line will feature European-inspired prints and colors, metallic threads, bohemian patchwork pieces, shams with diamond quilt stitching and feminine dressmaking details.
Will you be upgrading your home or wardrobe with House of Dereon bedding and Kouture?

The clothes that both of these celebrities put out make a mockery of young women. They don't wear the clothes themselves and advertise for other designers such as LV and Armani. It would be wonderful if they would wear the clothes that they push and put their labels on. I respect both women as artist and wish they would help cultivate pride in young women as well starting with the wardrobe.

That was a wonderful point made in the previous comment. I always found it weird that they never wear the cloths that they designed. But then again, they themselves don't actually "design" the cloths.
As far as the new line of home items are concerned for Beyonce, I just hope they're not as tacky as the clothing line. Who knows...maybe a Dereon toaster cover might be nice?
