Celebs Hit the CFDA Awards Red Carpet, Iman Named 'Fashion Icon'

It was a star studded affair at last night's Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards -- one of the industry's most respected events. Although everyone dazzled on the red carpet, it's safe to say Iman stole the spotlight both on and off the red carpet. The former supermodel snagged one of the most prestigious awards of the night when she was presented with the Fashion Icon Award.

Iman hit the red carpet wearing a strapless black Giambattista Valli gown from Valli's Fall 2010 collection. Iman had the bodice custom made from a spaghetti strap dress to a strapless gown complete with a feathered skirt. We couldn't help but admire Iman's diamond bracelets and earrings.

Designer Tracey Reese wasn't above self-promotion last night as she sported her very own bright floral design. She paired this fun look with teal beaded earrings and a simple pendant necklace.

Liya Kebede ripped the red carpet in this strapless gold dress which showed off her lovely long legs. The model decided to forgo jewelry and accessorized with a plain skinny black belt instead. We're loving the platform heels!

Rachel Roy came to dazzle in this fun, flirty and shimmery off-white dress that she paired with a matching mini-jacket. Along with her fellow fashionistas, Roy kept her accessory game simple by sporting a pair of gold hoop earrings.

Model Joan Smalls looked fierce in this strapless shimmery green dress. Smalls' gladiatoresque arm cuff added to her modern look along with her adorable strappy heels. She worked it!
