Menswear Shows recently kicked off in Europe, and designers like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and DSquared have already debuted their high fashion spring 2011 collections. While womenswear shows have made efforts to diversify their catwalks, menswear shows still lack a significant number of people of color. A quick review on Style.com shows that out of 13 shows thus far, only two, Giorgio Armani and Z Zegna, have used a total of two black models.

But what about the runways?

No other races of people enthusiastically promote mix marriage like black people does. It means we have deep rooted psychological problem. HOW CAN WE EVER PRETEND TO BE THE EQUAL OF OTHER HUMAN RACES WITH SUCH LEVEL OF SELF REJECTION?
We are not meeting other races of people as equal. Instead we are running after them because we no longer wish to bear the sight of each other. As a result, we as people perpetually deserve the smouldering contempt of others.

Maybe Black male models are going to have to be more activist and speak up for themselves like Black female models had to do some years back. I notice that white people have been more racist since a Black president now occupies the Presidential chair but Black people aren't fighting back anymore. We're content to just sit back and take whatever abuse and discrimination white people dish out.

A black man, but alone; a white lady, but life is not that nice. Desire a mingle of black and white? That's what _________ **** B l a c k w h i t e C u p i d . c o m ***** ______is dedicated to do. maybe they don't use them because they knw they are much more finer and sexier in the clothes... these designers don't want to have 2 use more material to make a shirt to fit a man w/broad shoulders.. they want stick size men that will fit into a woman's shirt..

Not only that, the majority of these designers are not looking to have black men buy or wear their clothing. They choose models of the "persuasion" whom they would like to see in/buying their clothing.
