If you have got a few extra curves, then you may think pulling off lingerie is a challenge. Well, it doesn't have to be.
The key to lingerie, for any shape, is feeling sexy. Let's be honest: Many times, we spend more time choosing it than he does enjoying it. But that's okay -- after all, you have to believe in your product (you) in order to sell it. And it's hard to sell without proper advertising!
Here are a few tips to guarantee your lingerie is successfully marketing to your number one customer -- just in time for Valentine's Day.
1. Know your shape. If you have a rounder tummy, try baby-doll silhouettes. If you are top heavy, opt for pieces that offer you some support. Also, remember to play up your best assets. If you have a great backside, a boy short can be your best friend. If you have a great rack, show as much of it as you feel comfortable with -- either with extra cleavage or by wearing something see-through.

3. Don't go overboard with fabric. It's easy for curvy girls to want to cover up their excess bits. But, remember that too much fabric can make you look matronly and can actually work against you by drowning out your figure or making you look boxy. Resist the urge to drape.

SEXY SUGGESTIONS

If you have to jam, stuff, and cram what you got into a body shaper to get your "curves".
NEWS FLASH!!! They aint curves.
The problem is not every woman knows there's a big "FAT" difference.

I lost over 150lbs in just one year so how about that honey? And you can't read the future to tell somebody when they're gonna die OK. We all gonna die someday. I'm losing weight and trying to get healthy but I ain't ever gonna be a stick figure OK. So yall need to stop being nasty and rude just because somebody is larger than you. Stop judging me and others like me, we don't need your hate.

Why are you on this website if you have such an issue with curvy girls? You look ridiculous attacking everyone on here, okay? A personality like that will get you nowhere in life, but I'm sure you already knew that - you're spending your free time on a website for *CURVY WOMEN*, not pathetic, self-hating men who have nothing better to do than insult other people. Get a life and learn to love yourself, because nobody else will with an attitude and personality like that.

@ Pete Rocks. Here we go. Everyone who is a size 12, 14, etc. does not go to McDonald's. Heredity and metabolism play major roles in body types/shapes. Three women can weigh the same amount and be similar heights and have very different body types. This article is for women with curves, and not men making negative comments.

DH trust me for every man that makes a negative comment he should first figure out what about himself he hates (a lack of self confidence leads to the need to attack others)
now onto a legit question from a man:
how do you suggest a man buy lingerie for a woman without her feeling like he is attacking her size? in the past i have purchased items with mixed results, sometimes i have been told i was being insensitive and trying to cover her body because i was displeased. all i wanted was to accentuate the curves i love.

@ Mage. Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure if your question was directed to me or to the author of this blog, but do you have access to the closet/dresser of the woman you are buying for? If so, you can peek in there to see what type of lingerie she usually wears and purchase something along that same line.
We women can have varying tastes in lingerie.
