Tracy Reese Updates Romantic Classics for Fall/Winter 2011 at MBFW New York

No one on the New York fashion scene evokes young and feminine romance quite like designer Tracy Reese, whose Fall/Winter 2011 collection sprung to life on the catwalk in 'deep hues, sculptural shapes and engaging textural combinations.' The collection was a hodgepodge of everything Reese does best: seventies silhouettes, flapper frocks, graphic and floral print dresses. There was a hemline at every length, making the collection a must-have for coeds to corporate sophisticates.

We were drooling over the fur pieces (which included a black fur skirt, ivory fur coat and bolero) that looked so right now because of the muted textile pairings combined with shots of brilliant metallic and jewel tones. As each of the 39 looks descended on to the runway, only one word kept coming into mind about this collection: jetsetter. If you're a global gal, grab your passport and fill your suitcase with the confidence and allure that defines Tracy Reese designs.

The photogs went flash happy with a front row that included '10 Things I Hate About You' co-stars Gabrielle Union and Julia Stiles, anchor Natalie Morales and model Veronica Webb.
