But first Selah's trying out modeling, rocking super-cute looks in the April 2011 pages of Teen Vogue and serving as a contributing editor.

The future superstar tells the magazine she hopes for a record contract, but for now, she's focusing on her packed schedule of friends, after-school activities and homework. We think she looks adorable and can't wait to see her take the stage!

I really hate that you started your article with Watch Out Willow Smith!! Why are we always putting one another against each other? These are little girls! Willow herself promotes girl power. This article could have been a really cute and fun introduction to Selah Marley without the negative comment. Shame on you.

I know I am not crazy!? The article originally started out with the phrase Watch Out Willow!! I usually don't comment on blogs but in this case I am happy I did! Proof that the littlest things we do or say can make a difference ;)

Lauryn Hill's daughter is beautiful and I hope and I say HOPE that she doesn't go onto the business like these teen stars or soon to be teen stars like Willow, have control, have no respect, all about fame, materialistic things, money, ect... lil exposure is fine. It's nice that she is getting into modeling but, I wish that these lil kids would just enjoy their childhood first, get a good education, then when they get older explore and be who they want without any pressure?
You get kids that have parents that are in the business and the parents want to EXPLOIT them in a negative way or want them to grow TOO FAST? I can understand that the young girl wants to follow in her Great Grandfather Marley's footsteps as a singer but, I hope when she is a lil older to make that decision without being pressure if that what she wants. A lot of these star kids grow up and they go the wrong path and their lives get messed up. I hope nothin but the best for her and I'm sure she would make a beautiful singer one day.

Nice to see Selah. I remember when she was born.
I'm glad the makeup was kep to a minimum.
Now only if the clothes were better. No TEEN should be wearing $440anything! mui mui etc. All this ish is tooo expensive.
Clothes in this TEEN mag should be from 4ever21, H&M, target, jcpenny, kohls, kmart, foreman mills... REASONABLY PRICED STORES!

@ooiobaae you can't be serious. What's wrong with the way that child is dressed? She's dressed like a child and she looks great. Why would a child be shopping at H&M and/or forever21? Those clothes are for hoochies. I'm 18 and I don't shop there. Come on now kmart, target & jcpenny??? You have got to be kidding me. What's wrong with Macy's and Nordstroms? I'm not saying that she has to spend thousands of dollars on clothing; a person shops within their budget. She isn't wearing anything outlandish and revealing, she's dressed like a young teenager.

Dimepiece, Bob Marley was her grandfather, not her great grandfather.
