Oh, Nicki. It's not that her outfits ever surprise us - we always expect them to be completely off the wall - but sometimes she does manage to pull something out of her closet that makes us do a total double-take.
This would be one of those looks.
The rap star attended the Casio Tryx camera launch at the Best Buy Theatre in New York City in a multicolored leather (or is it vinyl? There's some cow print in there, too) zip dress with graffiti tights and chunky wedges. She signed pink cameras while rocking an awesome - but dangerous! - five-finger spiked ring.
As usual, she was in one of her crazy wigs.
We always admire her ability to completely disregard what others think about her look, but BV on Style wants to know: do YOU think Nicki's look is hot or not?

Wasn't Ms. "Fro-Snow Cone/Bride of FrankenHOTMESS", on the front page of "Elle"? I guess "Elle" was DESPERATE to put Nicki on the Cover? Didn't she say that she wanted to dress like high fashion, put an end to her WILD & CrAzY AZZ WIGS, her OUTRAGEOUS STUPID OUTFITS? SHE LIED? She can put on a $Million Dollar outfit and still look a HOT AZZ MESS! Like I said on the other blog, she probably kept all her damn wigs/outfits and wasn't givin up ISH? Nicki will never changed for the better, still be GHETTO, never have any STYLE, never be CLASSY, and NEVER HAVE ANY TALENT! SMH? Out of all the beautiful, intelligent, & talented people in the world, BV could only come up with NICKI to post on here? SMH?

All black women hates her own hair and is jealous of white womans hair so they copy white womans hair doo look to be "pretty" with hotcombs chemicals ugly white look wigs and ghetto weaves with 2 textures of hair showing to be "pretty" WTF! is a woman of color??!

And white PEOPLE are jealous of African-Americans because they risk skin cancer FRYING in the sun, lying in TANNING beds at TANNING salons AND SPRAY PAINTING themselves! WTF!!! And, let's not mention the hair...they wear extensions (a la Paris Hilton's fiasco!) and perms to make their hair curly! LMAO!!!

African American people have the best hair. We relax it retard to straighten it out and care for it. Otherwise it will be unmanagable because of its curly texture. Any salon stylist who has worked on various hair textures will tell you African American hair is the best. We can straighten it curl it and do whatever hairstyle and have it last. It's the media that portrays black people with nappy and kinky hair. We have extremely curly hair that is drop dead gorgeous when managed properly. White people get perms and relaxer all the time but you failed to mention that. To be honest, as a hairstylist the caucasian race has the worst hair. It doesn't hold, it gets frizzy, and it thins out. Mexicans have better hair than white people. Arabs have better hair than white people. Chinese people have better hair than white people. Indians have better hair. Stop bringing race into every convo and use expertise.

Nick Minaj's look is derived from japanese pop culture. It has nothing to do with being ghetto or assuming all black women hate their hair. Learn to get a little information before you comment. If you enjoy the style of modern day japanese pop culture, you'll appreciate her style. If not, she's probably way beyond what you may appreciate as fashion.
