From The Huffington Post: Rachel Roy has quickly become one of Michelle Obama's go-to designers, so when we spotted her on the Met Gala red carpet, we wanted to know exactly what it's like to clothe the first lady in her creations. Roy told HuffPost Style, "I've dressed her 20 times now and so that is such an honor for me, because it means that someone who is so heavily scrutinized feels comfortable and beautiful and strong in my clothing. But I also think that she's making a definite choice when she's picking young, American designers. And I really, thoroughly appreciate that support from her."

I myself have enjoy a few of Rachel Pieces.. She does make really nice dresses... Sometime it's hard to find them in my size but she does make most sizes up to 16, she makes some really nice dress coats.. Now INC is my favorite for blouses and sometime pants but I'm looking for a great designer so I can elect them for pants sometime it's hard to find the right pair that fits.. NOW DYNK does make my favorite Jeans.. I use to love LIZ however they destroyed the company now I'm looking to replace her... But Keep up the good work Rachel..

I saw Caroline Kennedy on Letterman the other night and I thought about the First Lady because she has style like Jackie Kennedy Onasis. These ladies can wear a sheet and make it look classy because they carry themselves with confidence!!!!

HEY, THERE IS ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING WRONG WITH MRS. OBAMA just the way she is!!!
Now, if someone like this designer wants to improve their GOD blessed talents, should be blessed, prayed for and encouraged. If she has said Mrs. Obama has been an inspiration to her style and techniques, and she mean well and would just like to blesse Mrs. Obama with her clothes... then let her do her!!!, and GOD bless them both.

I don't own any of Rachel's pieces yet, but I like a lot of what I have seen from her thus far. I like her style. She is never scantily clad or over trendy. Michelle always looks gorgeous. I just love her and how confident and comfortable she is in her clothing choices and her skin.
