Actress Sanaa Lathan is starring in the Off Broadway play "By The Way, Meet Vera Stark," and at last night's after party celebrating the play's opening, the Yale-trained actress looked gorgeous wearing a black t-strap mullet dress that drew attention to her midsection and highlighted her legs. Lathan completed her look with drop earrings, strappy black heels, red lips, rosey cheeks and slick hair. Stunning.

P.S. Ms. Lathan made her Broadway debut in the Kenny Leon directed revival of A RAISIN IN THE SUN.
That's the one the Sean Combs starred in as "Walter Lee". That was in 2004 I believe.

FABULOUS, FABULOUS! You work it sistah girl! Dress is incredible, I would wear it myself. I find 'class' important. But you were always a class act, not letting everybody in your business, trying to screw every man you meet, doing drugs, etc. Some people don't understand that your 'whole' life is not a show, that acting is your job, and then you go home. So, don't pay no 'never-mind' to the haters! (I'm 50 and I know the word haters!) lol. You look fabulous, you ARE fabulous, God loves you, and so do I. Congratulations lil mama. Broadway is huge! and you deserve every bit of your success. Best wishes for you future. I know yo mama is proud as hell! Can't get any better than that!

The dress is beautiful and so is Sanaa. Very classy. Her hair and make-up was on point. I loved the movie she played in staring Denzel Washinton 5 or more years ago? I can't think of the movie? I love me some Denzel! :-)
