I don't think so. Ever. These were very popular in the early 80's (watch a few old re-runs of Cheers with Shelly Long playing Diane) and I guarantee you'll see one before too long. They are still a dated look. It is not going to become a new trend. I am 36 and there's no way I would buy a skirt that could have come out of my mom's closet 30 years ago. I mean are you going to bring back the fru-fru high necked blouses with the ruffles and huge bows at the neck too? Massive shoulder pads? Go to any Goodwill and you can find these looks for about 3.95 and it'll be "vintage".

I do remember my mother saying something about pleated skirts making women look slimmer. I think its a pretty style and wish it would never go out of fashion.

Pleated skirts make a woman look heavier not slimmer. I'll pass on this one.

I am with Lesli, NO WAY! I think they look dated (it conjures up images of that hideous fabric you normally see them made of) and offer a very unappealing silhouette to just about any shape.
I'll take a nice, fitted pencil skirt or even a tiered maxi ANY day over this hideous piece of clothing.

Ugly. Unflattering. I've never liked pleats. Difficult to maintain, sometimes, too. I prefer an A-line or soft gathers.
