Head to your nearest Gap or check out the online availability of a $29.99 Gap dress that Michelle Obama wore this weekend on her way to Camp David. The First Lady continues to wow us with her fashion sense and to prove that you don't have to spend a fortune to look great. For this outfit she decided to wear her dress as a tunic with a pair of white chinos, black thongs and a lime tote. Although President Barack Obama accompanied his wife, Michelle's summer brights stood out against his nice but standard business casual look.

Impressed.
Typically those that hold the highest political position in the land seem more concerned with the latest fashion statement while wearing clothes that the average and currently unemployed person could care less about.
If she were to pick out and wear something from the good will I'd be FLOORED!.
Good for her on this point!

That outfit looks very great on Mrs. Obama. It shows her nice curves. She could wear that top as a fly mini dress.
I get the feeling the President hit that before this trip. Lol, with his lucky self.
The first lady can wear anything and look good in it. Out of all the FLOTUS, Michelle is probably the classiest with Jackie O running a very near second.
Oh, yeah. Jackie was sharp too.

One of my favorite summer dresses that wins tons of compliments is from The Gap - and cost about $30 too! Smart shoppers like Michelle Obama look everywhere from Ikram to Gap, high to low.

I praise her style. It's effortless and it works for her. Clothing doesn't have to be expensive to be stylish. No matter what she wears, it will be news.

I've seen some public figures wear designer clothes and wound up looking like something the cat dragged in. Bravo First Lady, for always being frugal and classy at the same time. Also, much respect for all that you do for military families AND helping to keep all of our kids fit.

I am so delighted to see the First Lady of the United States show other grown women how to dress casual, chic and for less. She epitomizes any one of my new favorite terms:
"Frugal Fashionista", "Discount Diva" , or "Bargin Babe"! Work it Lady M.O.!!

She truly represents the Black woman. Finally someone who looks like me and not Leona Horne etc. I absolutely love her and everything about her, and I can tell the Prez does also. They look fantastic together. God bless them both.

I think it's sad she has to dress down as a black First Lady. I think she's doing this on purpose (due to economy and racial issues in this country) because it's apparent this lady has great style. No one cared how many pant suits or suits Hillary or Mrs. Bush wore. Mrs. Obama should wear whatever she likes whether designer or off the rack.
Like I have said I'm VERY proud an intel black man holding the highest office in the land picked a college educated intel BLACK lady to be the mother of his children ad stand by his side. That alone makes a VERY powerful statement!!! Exhale Exhale
