We'll stop labeling things based on ethnicity and race when white folks admit that they're the reason we have to.

Why don't you just STFU. Your posts don't make any sense. You sound like one of those light skin uncle Tom blacks that don't know if they are black or white. You ramblings are simply pathetic.

I think people forget that entertainers and celebrities are only just people and before their fame they probably had or didn't have a sense of style which comes to fruition with their notarity. What I don't get is why these celebrities hire "stylists" some of which I question whether they actually have any style of their own. Who dresses BET CEO Debra Lee? I have yet to see her dress age or body appropriate. She grew up in my neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina and I remember her as being in style during the late 60's and early 70's when we were in jr and sr high. What has happened Ms.Lee? Do you need a homegirl to come to your rescue and assist you in selecting outfits that will flatter and enhance your body and status? I am easy to find because I have returned to Greensboro. Call a sista!

You know, I started reading the comments on this blog because I wanted to get feed back on the BET Award Show performances along with best and worst dressed entertainers, NOT to read about ALL the racism and stupidity in the world. When I want to hear about things like that I can just turn to CNN and stations of that nature not to mention the Public Stations. Blogs such as this one and those similiar to these should be of things that were/are hilarious i.e. funny not to be used to launch personal vendettas or attacks on race or certain age groups or genders. I mean listen when you REALLY take the time to THINK people BET is ONE television station in thousands of stations that people of color have besides the newly OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) station and again THINK it's NOT on BASIC television staiton i.e. ABC,NBC,or even CBS. It's on a CABLE or PAID station which means TO EVEN WATCH THAT PETICULAR STATION YOU HAVE TO P-A-Y FOR IT. You know, come to think of it, even the hispanics have about 3-4 different channels, different awards shows, the orientals and asians, even the pakistanians and the afganistans have their own networks and stations but NOONE, NOT ONE OTHER RACE puts down or complains about what is said or done just this ONE station BET. It makes you wonder....WHAT IS REALLY WRONG WITH OUR SOCIETY, OUR AMERICA!!! Out of ALL the more important issues going on like global warming, starvation, homelessness, healthcare issues, flooding dissasters, earthquakes, and JOBLESSNESS (which includes COLLEGE educated individuals that are FORCED to work or apply for retail, fast food, and custodial jobs) that plagues EACH AND EVERYONE of us all you are able to do is talk and whine about ONE network out of thousands. People keep in mind that AGAIN, BET IS A PAID PROGRAM, WHICH MEANS YOU CAN ALWAYS DO WHAT? T-U-R-N-T-H-E-S-T-A-T-I-O-N. No-one is FORCING you to watch this ONE station. What is wrong with people these days! WOW!!! Talk about TRUE SMARTS....
