How did your visits to places like Istanbul and Morocco inspire your designs?
It's hard not to be inspired by them. There's such a rich history to these countries, in fact all of the places that I was fortunate to travel to while I was a model. I like to tell people that while my colleagues were out clubbing I was in the markets and bazaars exploring. This is my way of recreating those experiences and bringing them to a broader audience.

What inspired you to create Alfa?
