According to reports, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Sean John flagship New York store, located on 5th Avenue, will be closing up shop at the end of the year after six years in operation.

Singer Rihanna was spotted out and about in Paris this last week for Paris Fashion Week. When the 'Rated R' singer wasn't sitting front row at fashion shows, she was busy getting in some serious QT with boyfriend Matt Kemp. The songstress looked casually chic walking out of her hotel in faded-red linen shorts, a gray bird-print sweater and her signature nude Louboutin heels. The look was topped off with her ruby-red hair. So what do you think? Is Rih Rih's outfit hot or a total flop?

Vashtie Kola proves that despite living in a man's world, there's always room for women to shine. The hip designer and acclaimed video director recently teamed up with Nike, becoming the first female designer to ever collaborate with the Air Jordan line.

The limited edition Ladies' Air Jordan 2 Retro sneakers reflect the low key designer's tom-boy style, with an hint of femininity. "The shoe was inspired by my line Violette, myself and the girls who would wear them on their feet," Kola told BlackVoices. "I wanted them to be feminine and chic, but masculine and true to the original form. Balance has always been a key theme used in my designs and daily life, so I wanted to balance masculinity and femininity with this sneaker."

From StyleList:
A good trench coat never goes out of style, which is probably why this classic cover-up was omnipresent on runways for fall and, most recently, spring 2011. Designers such as Michael Kors, Moschino, and of course, Burberry have been showcasing the covetable garment as of late and those are great offerings, however, where to find a cool version without the scorching hot price tag?

Enter Banana Republic. The mainstream retailer currently has a khaki Classic Trench in store. Double-breasted with a removable belt, epaulets, a full silk lining, and priced at $198, it seemed like a total score (and something that could last for years to come).

One is never sure how garments will translate from the runway to the real way, so we rounded up a panel of women (some bloggers, some not), to head to their local Banana Republic and test out the topper. Our participants, who have varying style and body types, dutifully reported back with their thoughts on size, fit, and fabrication.

It's officially fall, and, if you haven't already been wearing it all summer long, it's time to embrace the black in your wardrobe. Designers sent a parade of black on black ensembles down their runways for the cool weather season, so get ready to go to the dark side.

Blame it on the economy, or simply on the grayer, colder days days ahead, but don't call fall's black styles brooding, says celebrity stylist and "My Body My Style" host Sam Saboura.

"These black looks are very sophisticated, very sleek and beautiful," he tells StyleList, "and I think if you choose to mix black with the right colors, you can make it less severe for fall and look totally on trend."

And -- bonus! -- most women already have at least one great piece of black clothing in their closet. So, where to begin on putting together a modern style? Our resident pair of experts (in this case Saboura and designer Catherine Malandrino) offer tips on how to wear black without looking too goth. (For more tips visit StyleList)

The stars came out to shine at last night's annual New Yorkers for Children Fall Gala at Cipriani 42. The gala -- one of the biggest charity events in New York -- attracted celebrity philanthropists such as New York Giants Keith Bullock, founder of the Keith Bullock Believe and Achieve Foundation.

Also in attendance was Kanye West, Selita Ebanks, Veronica Webb, Rachel Roy and Estelle, who served as the guest performer. We were happy to see some of our favorite celebs dressed to the nines. Here's a rundown of last night's red carpet.

Selita Ebanks looked stunning in a charcoal gray gown that hugged her in all the right places. She kept her accessory game simple, pairing the look with matching looped earrings and a few over-sized rings.

Mariah Carey can officially be added to the endless list of celebrity designers. The powerhouse diva will be debuting her own lifestyle collection exclusively on the HSN network later this fall. Prices range from $69.00 to $169.00 for shoes and $39.00 to $199.95 for jewelry and other items.

If you're interested in copping a few items from the line, you'll have to be patient. Carey's collection won't be available until November 29 on HSN and hsn.com. Hopefully by then we'll be able to determine if the pregnancy rumors are true or not.

Black Voices was front and center yesterday for budding designer LaQuan Smith's Spring 2010 Couture showcase -- given the theme 'A Story Book Past' -- at New York's Peninsula Hotel.

Smith, arguably one of the hottest young designers at the moment, attracted a handful of A-list celebrities to the event. However, unlike most runway shows during Fashion Week, there were more celebs walking the runway than watching!

The up-and-coming designer tapped a handful of celebrities to showcase his designs including Cassie, 'America's Next Top Model' winner Jaslene Gonzalez, Deborah Cox and tennis superstar Serena Williams.

From Styleist:
Naomi Campbell sat calmly on her black lacquer throne at the rear of the third floor of Dolce & Gabbana's Madison Avenue store in New York City, a felt-tip marker in hand.

Across a velvet rope straining like a rubber band, hundreds of fans and the odd celeb -- oh, hey, Estelle, Tyson Beckford, Chris Brown, Patrick Demarchelier and Chace Crawford! -- pressed toward her like inmates of some Charles Dickens madhouse paid an unexpected visit by Queen Victoria.

"She's signing T-shirts? Sign my T-shirt, Naomi," screamed one roundish young woman, pulling an Ed Hardy-like garment away from her skin like a shedding lizard. But that wasn't quite how it worked.

Dolce & Gabbana has collaborated with Campbell on a special edition of 14 T-shirts, each bearing an iconic image from her modeling career by a different photographer, to benefit Campbell's charity, Fashion for Relief. If you bought one for $200 at the Fashion's Night Out event, she would sign it.

"All the proceeds are going to the floods in Pakistan," Campbell told StyleList, when we finally sat down with her at the signing table, the rambunctious crowd yelling personal requests at her throughout. ("Tell him I don't take cards from men," she told one junior assistant conveying a plea from an eager gentleman who was wearing a backward white Yankee cap.) For more with Naomi Campbell, click here.
